Crystal glass is designed for its refractive and sparkling qualities, traditionally made with lead oxide, in combination with glass. However these days, barium oxide, zinc oxide or potassium oxide are generally used instead. There are many well know makers including Stuart, Webb Corbett, Waterford, Orrefors, Val St Lambert, Kosta Boda, Edinburgh and many more.
